Event Registration – Capital Power Micro-Mentoring Experience

On Thursday, November 27th from 5pm – 7pm, Capital Power is opening their doors to Big Brothers Big Sisters youth for a special tour! Youth 14 – 18 will learn what Capital Power is all about and get a peek into what working in the Trades can look like! They’ll learn what millwrights, electricians, and technicians do; see how power is generated through gas engines, pumps, and steam turbines; take part in a water chemistry experiment in the lab; and watch a demo of how welding, hand tools, and power tools are used in Capital Power’s work.
