Workshop Registration – Big Possibilities x WSN: Enhancing Youth Safety

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel York is excited to be partnering with the Women’s Support Network of York Region to bring their FREE Enhancing Youth Safety workshop series to you! Over two consecutive weeks, participants aged 12-18 will have the opportunity to learn how to stay safe online and in person, build confidence and decision-making skills, set clear boundaries, and recognize and prevent situations involving exploitation, gender-based violence, and human trafficking. Our goal is to empower young people with the knowledge and skills they need to protect themselves and support others! This workshop series will run on Thursday, March 5th from 6pm – 7:30pm and Thursday, March 12th from 6pm – 7:30pm online via Zoom. Participation in both weeks is recommended, and participants will receive a $25 gift card for each week they attend (gift cards will be for Subway, Walmart, and/or Starbucks, depending on what the Women’s Support Network has available at the time!).
