Thank you to everyone who came out to bowl at our Tim Hortons Bowl for Kids Sake events. We have now completed four of our five bowling events and are on track towards our goal to raise $150,000. We greatly appreciate the support of our bowlers, host sponsors, media sponsors, lane sponsors and team sponsors, as well as all those who donated in support of a bowler.
A special thank you to our Title Sponsor – Tim Hortons for their continued generosity year after year. And thank you to Tony Monaco of Z103.5 who comes out each year to bowl and emcee our kick off event. We would also like to extend our thanks to Peel Regional Police who brought out 57 teams and raised $50,000. Our thanks to our Peel Regional Police Committee co-chairs Superintendent Heather Ramore and Sergeant Joe Ciftci and to our Tim Hortons Bowl for Kids Sake Honorary Chairperson – Chief Nishan Duraiappah.
We were also thrilled to have the tremendous support of Regional Councillor Pat Fortini who raised an incredible $30,000. Through his fundraising efforts over the past 5 years Councillor Fortini has raised a total of $112,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Thank you to Mayor Patrick Brown and to the many City of Brampton Councillors who came out to show their support at our Brampton bowling event.
Our fourth bowling wrapped up on Wednesday, March 4th in Caledon with our thanks extended to Mayor Thompson for championing this event.
Thank you to everyone for your incredible support of our 2020 Tim Hortons Bowl for Kids Sake!
